This month, Messy Church is going wild and heading OUTDOORS!
Continuing our focus on creation, we’ll be heading out on a guided walk around the bushland and parkland surrounding the ovals at the park. We’ll be using all our senses to watch for different creatures and to see what we notice about God’s creation. Then we’ll be sharing a celebration and picnic dinner.
We’re excited that some of our friends from our church’s climate action group will be joining us, helping guide us and sharing their ideas on how we can care for the environment.
Come prepared for wet and muddy ground. Wear gumboots or comfy shoes.
Meet us at 4.30pm in the carpark at the end of Irvine Road.
If you have friends who you think would like to join us at Messy Church, please bring them along with you.
All are welcome!

The Faiths 4 Climate Justice Week of Action runs from 14 to 24 September 2024, organised by the Australian Religious Response to Climate Change (ARRCC).
In response, the Cross Gen Congregational Leaders agreed to display two banners at their Heidelberg Heights worship site. They have also sent photos of the banners and an email to local MP, Kate Thwaites, urging more action on Climate Change, while acknowledging that she is working hard on this too.
