Climate Action Group

The Climate Action Group provides leadership, education and support to each of the church communities in the Banyule Network in achieving their 2040 emissions reduction targets.

We provide guidance on how to live more sustainably (e.g reducing plastic usage, reducing food waste, reducing energy use and recycling/re-purposing of end-of-life products). We also provide information of a more technical nature (e.g. in the choice of heat pumps and electric vehicles).

We interact with other like minded local groups and meet monthly on the 3rd Thursday of the month via Zoom, or in person at Heidelberg Scots Church.
