‘What Neurodiversity Reveals About Building a World Where Everyone Participates’

Neurodiversity is often treated as a niche concern — something to be accommodated at the edges of education, workplaces, or healthcare. But what if it points to a deeper truth about how our shared systems are designed?

Drawing on the five foundations of NeuroChurch, Rev Glen Wesley explores how neurodiverse experience exposes the limits of “normal” and invites a more humane vision of belonging. This talk moves beyond inclusion as compliance toward cultures shaped for real participation. Designing for neurodiversity, it turns out, makes life better for everyone.

Rev Glen Wesley is an Anglican priest, speaker, and the founder of NeuroChurch, a movement re-imagining inclusion through a neurodiverse lens. He works at the intersection of theology, disability, culture, and community life, with a particular focus on autism and ADHD. Glen speaks from lived experience of neurodiversity and advocates for environments where people can participate without masking or apology.
