Play groups

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all play groups are currently suspended.

We have three thriving play groups operating in the Network during the school term, all held in the Hall and Lounge at Heidelberg Scots Uniting Church, rear 187 Burgundy Street, Heidelberg.

  • Tuesdays: 9.30 – 11am
  • Tuesdays: 1.30 – 3pm
  • Wednesdays: 9.30 – 11am

Children attend with parents, grandparents, carers or guardians and range in age from a few days old to school age.

There are toys and activities for all ages, including an outside play area. The play groups allow children to develop social skills at their own pace, encourage physical activity, support children’s imagination and creativity and give them an opportunity to learn through role play.

The group is also a place where parents and carers can form social connections with other adults and find a compassionate ear.

The program is free and all children are welcome. Families can vary the session attended each week and attend multiple sessions.

Please have a look at our Facebook page and contact us using the form below if you are interested in attending.
