Pastoral Care
Pastoral Care During the COVID-19 Crisis
The Network Pastoral Care Committee has put a comprehensive program of telephone support in place, now that we can no longer meet with people face to face.
There are three levels of support in this Pastoral Care Program.
Telecare
Telecare consists of a phone call twice a week to frail and isolated members of the Network, offering practical and emotional support.
This support is being undertaken by pastoral care visitors from the local congregation.
Telecontact
Telecontact consists of a phone call every two weeks and is being undertaken by local pastoral care visitors and the Clinical Pastoral Care Assistants in placement with each congregation. Congregations have identified which members may benefit from this kind of support.
Telelink
Telelink is for members of all ages within the Network and uses videoconferencing tools (such as Zoom) to bring small groups of people together to maintain contact.
Please contact your local pastoral care team or use the contact form below if you have pastoral care concerns.
