Cross Generation – What We’re Involved In
We aim to follow Jesus in the whole of life.
Our members are involved in community activities and ventures that are an expression of this commitment. Members do different things. Included in a long list are:
- activism on climate change;
- support for Indigenous people and for reconciliation;
- supporting student wellbeing and Special Religious Instruction in local schools:
- leadership and involvement in community sport;
- environmental action;
- service to communities at times of disasters;
- leading groups that support the marginalised and lonely;
- employment in entities that support the disadvantaged;
- involvement in a community garden;
- activism on issues of international justice, especially refugees;
- education of school students about science and faith.
We view all our “non-Sunday” lives as part of our response to God, and see these pursuits as examples of how we express our faith and discipleship.
